1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using K12Path (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
K12Path provides curated educational applications, learning resources, and family planning tools for K-12 families. The Service includes free and paid components.
3. User Accounts
Some features require an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate and current information.
4. Acceptable Use
- Do not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
- Do not interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers connected to it.
- Do not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
- Do not upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content.
5. Intellectual Property
All content provided through K12Path, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by K12Path or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark laws.
6. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance through our payment processor (Stripe). Subscriptions auto-renew until cancelled. All sales are final and non-refundable. You may cancel anytime; access continues through the end of the current billing period.
7. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in abusive behaviour. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. K12Path is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address, name, and (for paid plans) billing information processed by Stripe.
1.2 Usage Information
We collect information about how you use the Service: which apps are opened, time spent, progress through learning materials, and device type.
1.3 Children's Information
Information about a child's learning progress is collected only with parental consent and is used solely to provide the Service to the family. We do not sell or share children's data.

- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- To personalize age-appropriate content recommendations
- To process payments and manage subscriptions
- To respond to support requests
- To detect and prevent abuse
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing. We share data only with:
- Stripe for payment processing (PCI-DSS Level 1 certified)
- Hosting and infrastructure providers bound by data-processing agreements
- Authorities when legally required
4. Data Security
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.2+) for data in transit and at rest. Payment card data is never stored on K12Path servers.
5. Data Retention
We retain account data while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing support@k12path.com.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. EU and California residents have additional rights under GDPR and CCPA respectively.
7. International Transfers
K12Path is operated from North America. By using the Service, you consent to your information being transferred to and processed in jurisdictions where we operate.

K12Path provides curated learning resources for general educational purposes. Content is not a substitute for formal schooling, professional tutoring, or licensed educational diagnosis.
Third-Party Apps and Links
The K12Path library includes references to third-party apps and educational resources. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party services.
No Guarantees of Outcomes
While we curate apps and resources we believe are effective, K12Path makes no guarantees about academic outcomes, test scores, or admission to any school or program.
Medical and Developmental Concerns
K12Path is not a medical or psychological service. If you have concerns about a child's development, learning differences, or mental health, please consult a qualified professional.
Age Recommendations
Age ranges shown for apps are guidance, not strict requirements. Parents are responsible for choosing content appropriate for their child.
